Cable companies are at an interesting junction. Whilst many customers are “cord-cutting” and switching to streaming platforms as more services become available, they still require the reliable connectivity that broadband and fibre infrastructure provides.

This is prompting cable companies to evolve their business models and that’s where Red Hat come in.

To reflect the range of content on cable and streaming, we decided on a mixed style approach to the visuals for this piece. Utilising both 2D and 3D animation, we wrapped everything up in Red Hat colours and let our animators lose across multiple styles.

Snakes of tangled wires, an evolving Rubik’s cube, masses of data, content portals and happy customers all make an appearance in this fun animation that is filled with layers of detail and nice moments throughout!
