In its simplest terms, manufacturing is the process of taking materials and turning them into a thing. Or starting with a thing, and turning it into a different thing. With this top-level thinking, we were able to design an animation that centred around a simple, non-industry specific manufacturing process, which would resonate across a wide customer base.

The concept was well received by Red Hat, so we fired up Cinema 4D and got creating!

Our fun approach shows a convoluted process of turning a bunch of cubes into a sphere, and what happens when the system fails! Then, once the expertise of Red Hat is enlisted, the process is streamlined to remove unnecessary steps and increase efficiency.

Redshift was our best friend for this piece and we were really pleased by the art direction that it ended up going in. Our friends over at Red Hat loved it too - it turns out everyone loves a looping animated machine!
